Kate's mother buys her a dog from a store. She likes it very much.She likes playing with it at home.But today is Monday and she goes to school ,so she isn't happy.

Now she has math.In class,she thinks of her dog and does't listen to her teacher. Her teacher asks,"What's two and two,Kate?" Kate can't answer the question.

Her teacher says,"Your mother gives you two pens,and I give you two,too.How many pens do you have?"

"Five,"she says.

"It's not right," her teacher says."You have four pens."

"I don't think so,"Kate says."I usually have one in my pencil case."
